Unhappy computer going wacky

whenever i try to send a private message i get this:

"The following errors occurred with your submission:
  1. This forum requires that you wait 60 seconds between sending private messages. Please try again in 60 seconds"
  2. even if havent send any message before, and if i wait more than 60 seconds (even 5 minutes), still i get same message.
  3. i guess there is a flaw in the system. can this be fixed?
  4. thanks.

now these numbers 1 to 4 i did not type them. what is going on?

Log out of your account, close the browser.

Start the browser and log back in and try it. I had this happen to me some time ago, I think thtat's how I cleared it. Some timer somewhere is not resetting.

thank you very much for explaining. these things are so complex that, when it happens, i fear that the comp has lost it. and electronics sometimes are unpredictable.
thanks again, dear sir. you are always so helpful.
