I really hope we get a decent turnout for this!!!!
What the....??? Wow, that's pretty dang cool!

If you want us all to roll in together, which I assume is your point here, we could just meet up in the parking lot of the Irvine Spectrum on the other side of Alton Pkwy from the Ford PAG complex. What time are the CAA producers going to be there, and where are they going to be? Obviously it would be nice to have us all park together once inside the venue, but that means rolling in around 6:30, maybe 6:45 at the latest before it starts to fill up too much. Will the producers be there already or isn't that as big a deal and we just want to make sure we're parked next to each other?

They will come separately. Probably after we have arrived.

I think it would be good to roll in together like last time. Now, if we can get a few more committed to show, that would be great.

Hi all!

I've been MIA for awhile, but SRT SIX was nice enough to PM me and let me know about this.

I'm really going to try to make this one...especially since Irvine is so close to me. It's waking up so early that kills me! haha

I'll post again on Friday and let you guys know for sure. I've only been to Cars and Coffee a few times but I brought my other car. It was PACKED at 6:30am with only a couple spots open in the back.

Did you guys decide on a specific time and place to meet prior to? If I go, my fiance will bring his Prowler and I'm hoping whatever time we show will be early enough so we can all park together!

It looks as though the venue has changed for this weekend but we're still looking for confirmation on that. I've got some feelers out now and will report back when I know more.

Ok, let me know. I just made a couple phone calls and if it's at Cars & Coffee I'll definitely be there with the Crossfire. My fiance's bringing his Prowler and his friend is bring his new Viper. Who is the actual "decision-maker" for the venue...were you nominated Mike? haha

If it ends up being a more low-key venue of *just* Crossfires, that's cool too. I'll check back periodically for an update.

Appreciate you putting the effort into this, Mike-in-Orange. Even though you've done more than your fair share in organizing meets, it looks like you are in the best position to help us with this one.

A Prowler and Viper with Crossfires will make an excellent line up. Three examples of wild Chrysler concepts that actually made it into production - doesn't get much better than that. Now if we could only find a Chrysler Turbine Car to park next to.......

With no one knowing exactly where it is moved to, I had to cancel the meet with the producers this weekend.

Looking to meet two weeks from Saturday, Oct 9th. Hope that is a good date for Cars N Coffee and as many you can attend.

That works for me, except the Oct. 9th is a Friday, so I'll assume it's Saturday, October 10th.

Hope to see a bunch of you there! If we all plan to roll in together, that'd be awesome.

I think you mean Saturday, Oct 10th buddy. I'm good with that. Unfortunately I have yet to hear back from any of my sources regarding solid info on this rumored Mazda/Ortega HWY thing.

Brent, no worries..... just wish I'd gotten some solid info by this time. Oh, and if we want a Chrysler Turbine car we'll all have to meet up in Auburn Hills, MI at the Chrysler Museum. Not sure my mom has enough at the house for all of us though!

Thanks Mike,

Yes the 10th. Hopefully everyone can make that date AND it will still be there. If not we just might need to have an ALL Crossfire gettogether somewhere.

See my post at https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...tml#post419962 for the final status on this.

See you all on the 10th in Irvine!

Between now and then maybe we can plan a brunch destination for after C&C.

Looks like 4 of us will be there. Let's shoot for at least 10. The producers will be bringing a camera to record our little beasties!

Mike, do you have a meeting point in mind? Does anyone else want to get together after and go to lunch?

Hi guys!

I plan on being there on the 10th as well! My fiance will bring his Prowler for sure, and there's a good chance of our friend bringing his Viper on that day.

I'll keep an eye on this thread to see if anyone has any ideas for meeting places prior to. Not sure yet if I'll be able to do brunch afterwards, but it's a possibility.

I will likely go. I have gone to Cars and Coffee a few times in just the couple months that I've lived here in the OC. I'm not sure if I got more looks because of the car or the Rhode Island plates during the last time I had my car in the "show".

I'll be there. Mike, can you post a map with a meeting place and time like you did at the last C&C we attended last year?

Why of course!

The attached map shows detail of the Ford PAG complex with the display lot highlighted in yellow. The Irvine Spectrum is on the other side of Alton Pkwy (I've highlighted the rough area in blue), directly across from PAG. We can meet there at 6:15 or so and then roll in together at 6:30. There should still be plenty of room for half a dozen or more of us to park together in the display lot.

Janeen and I are coming. We're both bringing our X-Fires - so that's two more. See you all Saturday.

BTW we need to allot a bit of extra time for Brent as he'll be driving up from his new place in Chula Vista.
