I may have to back out for next Sun. One of our big softball tournaments was moved to next weekend and may be a 2 day. If not Im still game. I'll keep everyone posted.
Did 160 on Sunday afternoon. Jumped on it in Antioch & went all the way to Sacto. Stopped in Isleton for water, visited the little museum while we cooled down. It was hot as heck but the levee road is a lot of fun. Watch for big CHP SUV!! Didn't see any XFs. Have a lot of fun everyone! I will be schlepping boxes at work on Sunday.
I'll be at the Freeport Bar & Grill Sunday at noon to wait for anyone coming from Sac. Then I'll head south to Isleton Joe's. We have a 1 p.m. reservation under David if you beat me there.

David, it was nice meeting u and ur wife yesterday. Pretty disappointed that no one else showed up. Makes me re-think going to meets in the future. Oh well.
BTW, Happy Belated Bday Dave.

next time we need to exchange phone numbers, if there is a next time... that way we could have called and found out some one had showed up out there ,i waited till 12:30 at the Antioch bridge and no one showed up so i thought its a bust......(so i went to work)...
We got two cars to show, and special thanks to Brian and Sarah for making the trip all the way from Modesto. Nice people, nice car. Note to foodies -- Isleton Joe's is not the place to go when you're looking for an exotic culinary experience.
I'm open to another GTG and hope for better participation in future.

i think maybe 3 cars showed and 2 cars for lunch
i did show up at the Antioch bridge from 11:30 to 12:30
..........as a after thought maybe i should have driven out to Islton anyway and taken the chance that others had showed up.....

I agree Fred, communication needs to be involved in the next GTG. I'm open to do this again and we'll see how it goes. Yesterday, I was pretty shocked and irritated it was just Dave and I.
No offense to Dave and his wife, but if I knew it was just us 2 showing I wouldnt have come. On the flipside I got to meet 2 very cool people who share the same interests and passion for these cars.
With that said, I think a meet in mid September should be considered before it gets cold. I'll post a new thread and see what kind of turnout we get.

Hi,
I just joined the forum. Not currently an owner, but strongly considering XF as replacement for my '95 Mark VIII. I was hoping to find a "Cars For Sale" thread here.
Anyone near Ontario in Riverside County available to check on this car: 04 CHRYSLER CROSSFIRE ? We are thinking of driving down from San Jose this weekend to look at it.
