LATE NOTICE: Cruise on Central (PHOENIX), Apr. 30th!
I'll be down around Park Central Mall (3121 N. 3rd Avenue) tomorrow evening, April 30th.
The car show and cruise runs from 1p-9p. It only happens twice a year, and was rescheduled after a rain-out... it's an opportunity to cruise Central Avenue LEGALLY, just like the old days!
I've seen all sorts of vehicles out there... it's a great spectacle if you've never been (so American Graffiti).
Cruisin' Arizona Car Shows and Arizona Automotive Event Listing
Hope to see other Crossfires cruising!

Re: LATE NOTICE: Cruise on Central (PHOENIX), Apr. 30th!
I've only been to the Cruise on Central twice, once as a spectator and this time as a driver.
IT WAS SO AWESOME! The variety of cars was great, and everyone in positive moods... the monster trucks, tuners, lowriders, muscle cars, fat fenders, hot rods, and even Model T's... all just enjoying driving their cars in a parade circuit, basically bounded by McDowell and Indian School.
I saw one other Crossfire, a white coupe. I don't know if he's on the forum, but I have bumped into this fellow (a veteran) at Christown Mall before. We waved at each other from across Central, but didn't get to b.s
An older fellow in a Dodge Super Bee pulled up alongside at one point and said, "Is that a Chrysler?" I said it was. He said, "Nice car!" A guy in a Super Bee! Another guy who'd handbuilt is bucket hot rod was drooling over my XF. Lots of love (lust?) out there for these cars...
I can't wait until October 8th when they do it all over again. I'll cruise longer than 4 hours next time, and hopefully get some photos (hard to shoot and drive!)
What a great night. Come in October, if you can!

Hi there, Ron...
Yes, I remember the Chandler show well!
I imagine with the heat setting in (soon), we won't be out in the Valley much. I guess these are he days for drives up 89A or into Payson-Pine-Strawberry.
I'll haunt the West Forum, too, in case anyone posts ideas. I've visited the OTHER site, but haven't seen as much activity on there.
