I have a friend on another forum who posted this:
Going west is an old highway/road in California called Mattole Rd we took coming out of Humbolt State Park. Took us through Honeydew and Petrolia and along the coast. Gorgeous scenery, scary road.
She's not into "spirited driving" or curves... so I'm wondering, what's that road like? Looks like fun on GoogleEarth, maybe even a West Coast version of the Tail of the Dragon (Fontana, NC).
