Re: Just ordered new wheels (rims) and tires (tyres)
Thanks for all the kind comments.
Honestly I'm not sure about the exact depth of the lip. I think they look 'deeper' than they are due to the way the spokes come out from the center and at the last bit, dive back in and leave a full lip all the way around.
It gives them that 'deep dish' look without really being that deep as far as the offset.
The rear lip is at least two inches I believe and the front is a little less than two inches.
I may put up my SRT6 wheels so I can get another set of these with PS2s for the track. I'll see how I feel about continuing my 'racing' excursions after this weekend.

What's the largest size tires you can put on the crossfire stock rims?
I had an F150 before switching to the crossfire and could get 1 inch bigger tires.
I also saw a friend that put wider tires on his 350Z and it made the back end look alot wider than it really was.
Thanks.

Re: Just ordered new wheels (rims) and tires (tyres)
These wheels/rims are one half inch wider than stock. Mainly because the manufacturer (TSW) doesn't make the exact same size rim.
That being said, people have put 19" front and 20" rear wheels on Crossfires.
Search in this section of the forums... you will find tons on the subject.
Good luck!

I'm going to be making a trip back east to see family in December, so that's the main reason for the tire change. But from the looks of it, even in summer these new tires will be better.
Here are the details...
18x8.0 Nogaro Silver 5x112 Bolt pattern 35mm offset.
19x9.5 Nogaro Silver 5x112 Bolt pattern 35mm offset.
225/40R18 Michelin Pilot Sport A/S
255/35R19 Michelin Pilot Sport A/S
I pulled some of the Survey information from TireRack for comparison.
Couldn't locate the stock tires (Continental ContiTouringContact CW95), but I found the CV95, which is probably the closest.

Re: Just ordered new wheels (rims) and tires (tyres)
Maxwell,
Not sure what the 'factory' offset was on the SRT6 rims as I no longer have them. I think TireRack.com or somewhere else here on the forum had the proper offset listed and based on that and the fact that the rims I purchased were wider than stock, the 35mm offset worked just fine.
Not sure if that helps or not.

I ordered wheels that are very similar to Timelord's. Front is 32mm and rear is 25mm.
