Default Xfi tires are rotatable?

I thought that Crossfire tires are uni-positional and uni-directional and can be rotated neither front to back (due to different size) nor left to right (re: L to R, for reasons unknown to me). I was bored waiting for my car to be serviced today and read through the Crossfire's owner's manual from cover to cover. It discussed the importance of rotating your tires, and tire rotation is listed as part of the B Service. So are they rotatable are not?

You can switch the fronts from side to side and the rears from one side to the other.
The bad part is you need to dismount them off the rim and remount on other side.
Drive it till it needs new ones! That is what I suggest.

Not true. The XF tires are non-directional and can be rotated side to side without remounting them.

You are so wrong on that one...unless the tires that came on the car have been replaced with uni-directional ones. The owner's manual is correct on side-to-side rotation.

my pilots are not "directional" but the tire is marked "outside" on the sidewall. to me that means it could be rotated. that side of the tire will always be outside, regardless of which side its on.

my all-seasons have no such markings, which seem to mean they can be rotated side-to-side as well.

<-- have not read the manual about rotation.

I stand corrected. sorry. I made a boo boo.
Thanks for setting it straight.

What would be the point of switching them from side to side?
Would it really give them more life?
