Question Pack Front Wheel Bearings ?

In a recent post, XFire Woodied mentioned that the Crossfire service manual, pg. 2-27 suggests packing the front hub/bearings assembly with grease but it didn't say at what intervals. His mechanic said that he serviced the bearings in Woodie's Crossfire. Also, what about the rear wheel bearings? Does anyone have any other information?

I still find it hard to believe that the Crossfire doesn't have lifetime no service front wheel bearings like most cars today.

I searched and couldn't find any past posts on this topic so I started a new one.

Thanks

But did you clean and repack the bearings with grease or were they a sealed unit? I'm trying to find out if they, front and rear, need to be cleaned and repacked and at what intervals.

Thanks huudoo

Thanks james 1549, That settles the idea that the bearings are sealed and cannot be packed. I'm thinking that with the lithium grease we have today that maybe there is no regular service interval on the bearings and only needs to be done when replacing the rotor.

BTW where did you find the service manual ? Is it somewhere on our site or did you get it somewhere else that I could access ? It would save a lot of questions on my part.
