Ann, I use three hyd. jacks to store mine in the air all winter. Two at the front jack pads and one on that cross member in the rear and have had no issues.

That's the underbody stiffening brace, found only on the roadsters.
I really don't see any reason that it should cause any problems to put a few jackstands under it.......just remember to be careful. I wouldn't recommend using one jackstand on it, but a couple, or three should be fine. You really don't want to bend it, as it's part of the structure of the car.
That is also the piece that needs to be removed to replace the exhaust.

Cold or snow or rain they should never be "stored" away.
There is always one or two days each month through the whole winter where a clear day presents itself for a nice drive.
The longest mine sat in my garage without moving all last winter was 21 days.
