On a road trip last weekend I had a flat on one of my original rear Michelin tires. The car only has 16,000 miles and all the tires have a lot of tread left. I felt uncomfortable having the tire patched, because although it's an 04 with just 16k, when I do drive it, I tend to drive the hell out of it. So, I decided to get a new set of rears. I purchased a set of 275/35/19 Hankook Ventus S1. They were having a closeout special of $129/tire at the Tirerack. I know that this tire has a slightly larger diameter and it will throw off the speedometer by 1.3mph at 60 mph. I was wondering if anyone else has this size tire and what, if any side effects there might be.
