Tirefit is the method in the manual for fixing a flat. It uses the fixing things that come with the car. Ron

D'oh! Nope, haven't had it long enough to have a flat, but have been advised that I should make AAA my friend.

If I get a flat do to a nail or some type of puncture like that I just pull it out, put a plug in it, pump up the tire and drive to a tire repair shop when it is convienent to do so. Here is a link to give you an idea
How to Use a Tire Plug Kit

Avoid using that black gooey crap (tirefit) that came with our cars.
It will mess up your TPS and most likely trash the inside of your tire.
Carry a pair of needle nose pliers and a good tire plug kit.
If you need to do a roadside repair this is the way to go.
Then use the supplied air pump to fill the tire back up with air.

Just made the scond payment

2006 Base coupe/Black/6 Speed 18,000 miles +/-

All that stuff is under the mat in the hatch, still in the pastic wrap, and after reading Valk's post, I'll take his advice. I happen to have a good tire plug kit, and have used it on other vehicles over the years
