did you get the r6 or the a6 tires? i looked at the tirerack website but dont really see much difference in the tires. also do you recommend the heat cycle they advertise? definatly want my moneys worth as the tires cost a pretty penny!

Moparburst, I know that you did a lot of research on this, and I appreciate your sharing with us. I purchased a set of the CLK rims like yours. I will be looking into tires for them this week. So, I basically have 2 options that I am considering. The Hoosiers, and the MT ET Street DRs. I have 27 miles each way to the track, so just a little more than you. The Hoosiers are 22 lbs., and the MT ETs are 29 lbs. The weight difference alone has me considering the Hoosiers. The street-ability has me leaning towards the MTs.
Other than the obvious weight savings, were there any other factors that made you decide to go with the Hoosiers over the MTs?
