Default AMG Center Cap Fitment

Having trouble finding info on people that have used the AMG center caps. I was wondering if the 75mm will fit in place on the stock SRT wheel.

Mercedes-Benz AMG Wheel Center Caps 75mm Emblem Badge : eBay Motors (item 130302255177 end time Feb-17-10 23:25:50 PST)

Thanks in advance.

Mike, they kinda sorta fit. Ok, here is the deal. There is too much play in they once you get them on. If you look at pictures on bay that show the back side, you will see that their are 4 tabs and a metal ring. To get them to fit tight, I took the metal rings off and threw those away. Then, I took a lighter and heated the plastic tabs and bent them outwards slightly with a pair of pliers. Making sure to start the bend at the base of the cap. Not much bending is required to get a snug fit. I have had mine for about 6 months now with no problems.

Your style fits fine. The ones he is asking about are the only style that requires some modification. There are several people on here that have these, and everyone has the same fitment issue. Not really a big deal though, as it is an easy fix.

These do more than spin. They actually will move in and out about .5 to .75 inches. Without modification, they would be flopping around instead of spinning.

Not sure why these are different than any other style, as all mercedes wheels have the same diameter for the center caps. I guess just a manufacturing error.

So what is the proper measurement that I should be looking for? I see some for sale that are 60mm and some are 75mm
