Just got keyed...sort of...
I did not have my new Hankook Ventus V12 Evo tires on my car when I noticed my left rear was flat.
I took it back to America's Tire to have it checked and they found a broken GM ignition key embedded in the tire. The tip had broken off and what remained looked more like a small dull knife blade. It sliced right through the tire between the tread pattern....
They said they had never seen anything quite like it and are replacing it at no cost.....

my daughter's car had a long skinny srewdriver in the tire, without the handle of course and everytime she drove it, it would bang inside the rim. She didn't know what it was until we checked the tire and saw a little part of it sticking out. The funny thing was that it wasn't flat. So we yanked that bad boy and couldn't believe how long it was.
I went out side one morining and noticed all 4 tires were flat on my prelude and the one tire had a knife sticking out of the side wall. Road hazzard I think not. But I made a phone call to my recent EX-GF at the time and said "Thanks for showing me how much you still love me sweety!" Then she laughed and hung up the phone.
Thats the only time I can remember when I had something strange sticking into my tire

Contis are tender devils. I had a hollow 1/2" copper pipe go thru mine in a Nashville rainstorm. Then, I fixed it on the wheel, and on the car, as a tornado raged overhead.
Amazingly the patch/plug held and I drove all the way to Dragon and back to St Louis on it. My tire guy said it was the neatest plug job he'd ever seen and proceeded to put on a new set of Generals.
And to over torque the lug screws and warp my rotors

I had a 5" spoon fishing lure in a tire once. Because of the shape of the lure I couldn't pull it out or push it back in to patch the tire. Oh yeah, it was on my boat trailer & went in while I was launching. Was pretty funny to see the tire bubbling away underwater while I took the boat off the trailer, but it sucked to fix!!!
Ran over a pair of sissors....one half went into the front tire then the remaining half found its way to the rear..two flats in one !
Kim, there easier to fix out of the water ?
