Got two new Rear Hankooks today... sure are nice looking tires!

The front tires are "ok" but I will replace them in the next few weeks anyway - want a matching set for the Dragon in April (so MAYBE I can keep up with Kim - still learning to drive like a girl*.)

They are good tires, I run them on my Porsche and my boss has them on his M3

The Hankook's are great summer tires. But when it's 14 degrees outside, they slide all over the road. I guess that's why there called summer tires! Squirrel Crusher

Well, I ordered front tires saturday and paid in advance ($20 off that way).

I'll take the car down there SOMETIME this week and then have four new tires all the way around. All Ventus V12 K110s. THEN I'll wait for it to warm up (tonight's low is around 22) before I 'rate' them. Highs in the 50's for Saturday, so they say.

I sorta like it cause when the light turns green it's kinda fun to light em up.
Once ya warm em up a bit they stick pretty good but yes...not as good as a warm day.

Ya it's sorta an addiction.
One thing to note here though is that a pic in the gallery counts as a post.

If ya see my gallery......this counts for 2593 posts

Just recieved these. Ordered them from tire rack two days ago, I wasn't expecting them so fast but only coming to FL from GA. I am planning on getting them installed this weekend. I've read many positive reviews on this forum (after I already purchased the tires) aside from the cold/rain comments.

I'm coming from some very worn and very noisy nitto invos so these should definately been an improvement.

I went stock sizes in front and back but wish I would have read that users are having success with the cushier larger back tires before I placed my order, oh well just have to wait for next time .

Well, I now have four new V12 evo K110's on my car. Just drove 50 miles to Kathy's house on them, last 15 with the top down (it's 61F out there, 35 degrees higher than yesterday morning).

These tires seem quiet, and since my original Conti's had made it 33,000 miles, they were getting kinda loose feeling up front - WELL, it ain't feeling that way anymore! Got up to 85 mph, but little in the way of twisties.... so not much to tell right now, except, like I said, it feels good to have the front end TIGHT again... the old ones were feeling so loose, I was wondering if my stabilizer or something was going bad.

MAYBE this weekend I can run thru FDR park and see if I can scare myself (a reference to Kim's remark) - if not, maybe I can scare Kathy! (Obviously, if I can make tires last 33,000 miles - I ain't very scary).

That's actually a chrome plastic overlay. I bought mine so long ago I can't remember who sold it to me.

Sorry man but someone on here will know.

I'd have Contis, too. Problem is, they are often unavailable, that is to say "on backorder".

If you are planning on Contis, order them tomorrow morning and take delivery when ever you can... let 'em sit in the garage until you need them, 'cause if you wait till you really need them, you may end up buying Hankooks like I did.

Having said that, the Red Roadster takes curves like it's on RAILS now ... so as it turns out, I'm happy and will probably put Hankooks on the Graphite Roadster when these Generals are done.

(The generals are quiet, but I don't like how the car handles compared to the red one, so far, I am blaming the tires... hopefully I will be proven right.)

I think the conti dws or dw are worth the wait.
The mod that I am really looking for it
Are.... koni and conti dw before any engine mods.
These 2 will improve a lot the car...
