Default Brakes Squealing...

Front brakes are squealing pretty bad when I come to a complete stop. Comes and goes. I had my buddy take a look at them(owns his own shop) and the lady I bought it from had just replaced the front pads and had the rotors turned. The car has a little over 60K miles and I doubt has had the rotors replaced. Should I just get new rotex pads and rotors? Or give it some time?

Maybe no brake grease was used on the back of the pads?

After doing some research on the site its best to completely replace the rotors. After looking at the rotors the previous owner def had them turned. I'm just going to replace them with new pads and upgrade the rotors to cross drilled/slotted and hope for the best.

dont hope for the best! do some research and match your pads to your rotors. bed the pads if needed and use brake lube for the pads. clean everything completely and you shouldnt have any issues.
the higher metal content in the pads the more squeal. look at the ceramic composite pads

the type of rotors depends on your driving style. oem rotors provide the most pad contact, slotted rotors scrape the pads cleaning them but shorten the pad life and drilled rotors cool better but tend to crack under extreme use.
