Default Disc Italia brake pads -

Sveral weeks ago tried to get a set of Rotex gold pads for my wife's 04 C240 Mercedes. Apparently Rotex doesn't make them for this model Mercedes. I wanted them specifically because of the excessive brake dust that seems to plague Mercedes. I if went any more than two weeks without washing the car the front wheels would be black. Well Brake World sold me a set of Disc Italia Kevlar pads. They were installed 2 weeks and a day ago. NO BRAKE DUST AT ALL! Just a heads up these are excellent pads as well.

Any noise? And can you tell any difference in the "feel." Thanks. Jimmy

No noise Jimmy and the performance seems equal to the stock pads.

Thanks. They have had plenty of time to degas, so they are set now. Thanks. I just went from a N/A to a SRT. The increase in spokes is "KILLING" me. I just did not want to jump from the frying pan into the fire. I hate dust, but I hate squeal even more. I can clean dust, but ear plugs are not an option.

Two more---Did you turn, change, or scuff the rotor with the pad change? And, what was the cost for the set?

+1 had the TK disc italias for almost a year, I like them, but for the money, think hawk or several others are just as good....
