lowering the XF
Re: lowering the XF
you might want to do a little more research first. the lower you go the more you are going to need. spacers are going to put you close to the fender edge do you plan on rolling the fenders? how low are the springs going to be?
most members run # 5 pads in front and #1 in the rear but this will depend on spring height and how aggressive you want the look. adj. camber bars for the rear and eccent bolts for the front will be needed to assure proper alignment.
theres a load of info available on here for just this subject. good luck!

H&R Sport Spring Set
these are the springs i want to put on it, 1.2" in the front and 1.0" in the back, because i have 19's in the back and 18's in the front so i want it to look sort of level. i have a pretty big gap in the front wheel well now.
i dont plan on putting spacers on it, but it does look pretty sick. i just wanna know what pads should be put on it

Re: lowering the XF
start with the 5 in the front and 1 in the rear. each pad raises the suspension 4 mm. you lower the front and raise the rear as needed. the front starts as high as you can go due to the 1.2" drop. measure your car in front and subtract the 1.2 " thats a significant drop

each car is different due to wheel offsets. jhm2k has cut springs and #3 pads up front with tons of room.
