New Rims?
Im sam and i am a new owner of an 08 crossfire coupe. I have heard it is a lot of trouble putting new wheels on these cars, and i know next to nothing about rims and what not. I would like to keep the 18's on the front and 19's on the back. Could anyone tell me if tenzo tracer v1 rims and tires packages. tenzo tracer v1 black w/ stripe wheels and tires packages at WheelsNext.com these will fit my car. and/or where i can find more rims similar to this that will fit. I have the graphite color and i think i would like to try black rims with the red stripe and maybe paint my calipers red behind it. also will i be able to keep my tires? i have 225/40zr18 on the front and 255/35zr19 on the back. Any help is much appreciated.

If you want strictly bolt on wheels you options are very very very limited with a little research and some common tools you can make any wheel with 5 X 112 spacing work as long as you stick to 8 or 8.5 inches wide up front and 9 or 9.5 in the rear im not sure how big or small you can go with the wheel height but I have saw 19 and 20 combos. Also are cars have centric hubs but youll find on most wheels with 5 x 112 are setup for centric hubs and will need centric rings for correct fitment. You must also get the correct offset this can be achieved with spacers and correct size lug bolts. If and when you do get wheels be sure that you lug bolts are not to long because in the rear you can run the lugs directly into the ebrake system causing about 1500 bucks in damage!!! When you find wheels you like post them to this thread and i will fix you up I became a pro with this stuff after getting mine to work...

Will These fit?
Stock offsets are 35 for the front wheels and 22 for the back so no not with out spacers and they have to hub centric call and ask you be 19mm wider than stock if the stock wheel are 9inches wide i think they are here is a wheel offset calc http://www.1010tires.com/wheeloffsetcalculator.asp

What about getting the new back wheels in 8.5 width instead of 9.5? The calculator said inner clearance 3mm more and Outer position retract by 23 mm. You would have to interprete that for me because i am awful with this stuff.

Do these spacers have to be custom made or can i order ones to those specifications online? And i assume OD is outer diameter? I wont be doing this myself by the way ill take it to a shop and have them put the rims on so will they be able to get the spacers?
2 MERCEDES Hub Centric 5x112 Wheel Spacers 20mm Thick | eBay
Ebay has hundreds me an another guy just did this.
To get you lugs the right length you'll have to do some measuring or order them long and cut them. This is the bolt we used but the site has many sizes you'll have to do some measuring I can't give you a number..

Hey jmk41, I was wondering if you could help me with these wheels. I don't know what size bolts actually come with it, or if i can use my stock bolts. Maybe you know or you can guide me in the right direction.
Thanks man

Take a look at that link you posted...
Buy one long *** bolt with the correct seating (seating explained below) and measure the correct amount sicking out then order the correct sized bolts. I cant give you a number its impossible every wheel is different.
Make sure your able to get the wheel in 8 or 8.5 in the front and 9 or 9.5 in the rear any smaller in the rear will trash your handling and any larger up front will rub in your fender wells and junk!!
Lug bolts come in 2 types of seat tapered, conical, cone seat (those 3 names are different names for the same seat) and ball seat. The bolts used on our stock wheels are ball seat so chances are good you will need to buy lug bolts separate. To my knowledge no wheel is sold with bolts... Even if the ball seated stock bolts are the correct seat for the wheel the chances that the length will match is slim to none in which case you would want to order more bolts anyway because if you cut your stock ones your stock wheel will no longer work.
TSW uses conical seat and as far as I know almost all aftermarket wheels are conical seat. What I did was, I ordered my wheels then ordered the longest conical seated lug bolts so I could cut them to the size I needed. Took about an hour with 3 people helping to cut all the lugs and mount them.
Another idea sadly this just came to me!
When you order your wheels over the phone which you are going to do!!! Never ever trust the online order forms for wheels they are a ***** to return if need be!!! Explain to the sales person that you need specific length lug bolts and if available you would like him or her to get lug bolt thats sick out the mounting side of the wheel a hair under 3/4 i suggest you get a metric measurement in mm so its exact and have them send you the bolts or at least give you the size you will need
**Tips**
1.) If you attempt cutting buy rent or borrow a dye set to clean the threads up before you go running them into your hubs!!!
2.) Run the lugs in and before you really snug them up turn the wheel to make sure your bolts are not hitting the ebrake assembly!!! Im not sure if tightening the bolts down on anything in there will hurt anything or not but I wouldn't test it!
3.) If you cut your bolts have a tube of never-seize handy and cover the bolt with it before you insert it. When you cut the bolt your opening an unprotected bit of bolt and will rust a bit making it an absolute beeotch to get out next time around...

Lol sorry about my dogs, i had control+C still from my last thread i posted about dogs lol.
Let me redo this.
Sport Edition ST3 Bright Silver Paint
I got these wheels. They came with 20 conical bolts. My problem is i don't know how far out of the wheel they're supposed to screw into the car. I measured them when i got here and they stick 3/4" out past the wheel. I need to know if that's long enough, or if it's too long and will go into the E-brake system. I have some pretty unhelpful pictures from my cellphone i will upload.
