Default Lowering a crossfire

Hi there,

I'm sorry for my bad Englisch but i'm from Holland. I have a crossfire, but want to lower it a couple of cm. My last cars were a golf v and audi a4, both with a adjustable springs ans coilovers. The chrysler needs to go a few cm down, i guess 4 or 5. Does anyone got some pictures from a crossifre and can tell how much cm the car can goes to the ground?

Thanks!
Ludo

with a spring kit you can get about 3.5cm(1.5") on the Crossfire....you may need to different spring pads/seats to get what you want and no rubbing...depending on if you are using stock wheels/tires or not...

My car has Eibach Pro springs and Koni adjustable shocks with replica AMG 810 wheels 18x8.5 ET35 front with 235/40 tires and 19x9.5 ET35 rears with 285/35 tires.... I have the tallest springs pads in front and back and get a little rubbing in front when going max turn... and a little rubbing in back when I hit sharp bumps at speed... I need to go to a 30 profile in back and I will get back to stock diameter and not rub....

Also note that when lowering, you will likely need to get adjustable camber arms or bolts for the back and bolts for the front.... lowering the Crossfire this much REALLY makes the wheels go negative camber......

I want to use the stock rims. Maybe on the rear 5mm spacers

Is it legal in Holland to remove and cut off your OEM springs? 1/2 of one turn may be enough of a drop for you.

Or changing out your spring pads to the thinnest (One dot)?

Just a thought?

I understand from other members here that they will lower the car farther than the comparable Eibach spring set.

Read up on this subject before deciding? You will have to get different spring pads and perhaps adjustable rear camber arms to offset the added negative camber lowering produces. And, let us know what you do?
