Default Replacing Wheels - Any Suggestions/Help

My driver's side rear wheel cracked and it is time to replace the set as ordering a stock replacement is expensive. I am going to be keeping the same tire on the new rims so I need to find something compatible with the stock tire. (225/40 - 18 front 255/30 - 19 rear). I am trying to stay away from having to add spacers and change the fitment of the setup. I want to try to find something that will be a transition with minimal changes. Post up any recommendations or experiences you have had with different rims. From what I have read so far it seems hard to find a wheel that matches up without changes. Thanks

How close are you to TN?

I have a full set of factory SRT-6 wheels for sale that will fit the OEM tire size perfectly. Also, the wheels currently on my car are technically for sale, at a very similar price.

If you want new, wheelstudio.com is a superb place to look.

I just checked out Wheelstudio.com. Not too shabby. I had not heard of that site until your post.

They're one of the few sites that show bolt patterns, widths, AND offsets. Very useful in picking correct wheels.

Eric, one of the techs there, really knows the Crossfire as well and is the only guy I work with.

Great communication, free shipping... what's not to love?

Most wheels I am seeing run 8 inch in front and 9.5 inch in rear. The stock from what I gather is 7.5 in front and 9.0 in rear. Why the differences in width on the rim. I want to keep the same tires I have on the car now and not change the ooffset that much in where the tire sits in relation to the car.

You can run the 225/40 on as wide as an 8.5" rim... I'm currently doing so with no issues, aside from a very slight appearance of being stretched. I've even tracked my prior Crossfire with this setup, with zero issues.

The 8" wide wheel is perfectly within the comfortable operating range of the 225/40

Has anyone here bought the Sport edition ST3 from tire rack or the Avarus Rims from Tire rack. If so were you pleased. Give me some feedback if you have.

Here's some Pix of the Mandrus Wilhelms, purchased thru WheelStudio and Eric. They fit stock tires with no issues, no spacers, no hassle:

https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...heels-pix.html

If I'm not mistaken, JHM2K has a set of Mandrus for sale, as he stated in post # 2.

Nothing like a new set of Rims to boost the ego, and make your Xfire stand up and be noticed in a crowd...

I was running Stock Rims and Tires when I replaced them with the Wilhelms, and I kept the Tires and just re-mounted them (cause they had less than 4000 miles on them).

Current Tires Stock:

Front ~ 225-40 R18 Continentals
Rear ~ 255-35 R19 Continentals

The new Rims mounted with nothing additional (spacers, offsets, etc.).

I believe in the 'keep it simple' approach, and this is what I got with the Mandrus Rims.

Besides the fact that they are a Quality Rim, and also look stunning...

Thanks for the info Kode..... What size and offset rims did you order.... I went with 18X8.5 5X112 32 offset in front and 19x9.5 5X112 25 offset in back. From everything I have heard these make it as painless as possible. Again much thanks for your replies.....
