I have been to Bandimere speed way with mine this year and I have 4500 miles on them and can say without a doubt they stick very well for 1/4 runs. I pulled a 12.8 on them at 5600' above sealevel. that is about 11.6 for you flat landers equivalent I am told. The humidity was non existant 7% and it was 88*f and 108 on the track and they did me proud. I am sure with some practice I could get another .2 out of them.

 

That's my biggest priority with my next set of tires, is the "hook" off the line. As for cornering grip, etc... I simply haven't had the time to schedule outings to a proper road course. On the street, it's hard to reach the handling limits without hitting felonious speeds or putting someone else in danger... neither of which I want to do.

This means that I can settle for "great" in the corners as opposed to "the absolute best". The difference between the two tires, at the speeds I'll be hitting, will be negligible. Also, no Dragon for me this year so my only real "test" of the tires for some time will be the launch.

So, the INVO is a clear choice at this point.

 

Rob, you sold me. A set of 4 INVO's are on the way. 225/40ZR18XL's up front, 275/35ZR19XL's for the back. I ordered them through work, $740 shipped to me. Should have them end of the week. The Goodrich's are starting to get a bit greasy anyway.

 

Wow what a good price! I really hope you enjoy them as I know I do. For a really good all around street tire these can't be beat.

 

Got them installed today. $130 to mount and balance them. While they were in there I had them take put my dead TPMS sensors and install plain ol steel valve stems.

Initial thoughts, great looking tires. Very quiet. A bit greasy initially until you get the shipping coating worn off. I can still get the traction light to flash if I try, but normal driving they are sticking quite well. The KDW's I took off the back definitely broke free more easily. Braking traction, once again a bit greasy at first til coating worn off. I can get the ABS to cycle by pressing the pedal very firmly (not jamming them on). Initial feel seems better than the Toyo's that I took off the front.

I just took the plunge and got a set of 4 with new TPMS sensors since the orange electronic ones never worked. $1,400.00

 

Here's 8 months on Hankooks without an alignment on the rear. Fronts are close to the same.
