Brakes failed on highway.

I only had the brakes fail on the crossfire that one time, it was not the brake lines. Now that I check the pin often it hasn't happened again.

On other cars I drove I had the brake lines fail on me. It has been at least 5 times, always on a different car. Those cars all had really high miles and were driven in New England during the winter, so lots of water and salt cover the car for months at a time. Eventually the lines rust through and burst when you hit the pedal hard enough.
