Default advice on rotation of tires 2005 crossfire

Looking for advice from others who have had their tires rotated. Since the tires on the front are different from the back does rotation occur by simply rotating front to front and back to back? Please advise.
Thanks,
Rick

I rotate side to side.
But unmount tires and remount to other side so what was the inside of the tire on one side is on the outside on the other side.

This is required if you choose to rotate side to side and have single directional tires on your car

Most of us rotate our tires by putting the Crossie in gear and pressing on the accelerator. The rear wheels rotate rather quickly and the front ones eventually catch up.

Unless you have a misalignment, or a suspension malfunction, the process of rotating side to side is not worth the trouble, much less the risk of some wrench jockey messing your wheels.

A few questions:

How long have you been a grandmother?
How many grandchildren do you have?
Will you ever forgive me for being such a smarta$$?

I recently had mine balanced and the rears rotated since the front were directional they were not. the tires have 44,000 miles on them. correction tires have 4,xxx miles.

Just drive it alot vs leaving it sit in the garage. Many hours of seat time every week traveling.
