Ground Control Suspension - is it inherently noisy? Clanging and Banging...
Bought an SRT6 off of a forum member. The car has a full ground control suspension, and I think MikeR camber arms.
The rear suspension is awfully noisy while driving. When at rest, I can stand in the trunk and jump and can't hear anything...but if I hit bumps while driving, it clangs and bangs.
I have had a fox mustang with full tubular/solid suspension, and it was loud due to the lack of urethane in every component. The heim joints were noisy.
Is this ground control the same way? I'd prefer a quieter ride...although I like the handling.
Thanks in advance
Shawn

I just realized they sell a full rear arm kit. I just have the adjustable height coils and the mikeR adjustable camber arms.
I may need to try to lubricate the arm ends.
However, j think the coil springs may be the noisy part as there are no isolators or anything
