If you go to Tire Rack's website, compare the "Treadlife Warranty" for the Continental Conti Touring Contact CW95 Grand Touring All-Season Tire (60,000 miles) with the Michelin Pilot Sport 2 Tire (NONE) to see which manufacturer is more confident of their tire's durability! Also, the prices are very comparable for both. My AST's seem to grip well in cold, heat and rain (no snow, yet) in Southern California!

Well it is obvious Michelin has a manufacturing problem.

Gentlemen, I walked out to my xfire this morning and for ***** and grins I did a once over on all four of my Michelin PS2's and guess F_CKING WHAT ? My right rear PS2 had a little bitty sidewall bubble on it so I zipped by Discount Tire this morning and showed my salesman the bubble and said he we go again..... They ordered a new one from St.Louis, said it would be 3-4 days..... I am going to call Michelin Monday and ask some serious questions.

That's what I've been saying before...Michelin won't do anything about it unless someone dies due to a blown up tire and they get a million dollar lawsuit! The best thing to do is don't buy Michelins....F**** the French!

I don't have your tire problems as I have the Conti AST's; however, this appears to be more then an isolated problem. I suggest everyone with this problem take a moment to visit the NHTSA site and file a report with them. This is a serious safety issue, and maybe, just for once, the government might take action and force a recall of these tires before someone dies.
