Is there a bolt on rear brake setup from another Mercedes that ditches the solid rotors in favor of vented ones?

I am trying to eliminate horrible sounding rear brake squeal and came to the conclusion it must be poor design of the pad/rotor setup. Im thinking vented rotors wont carry a resonance like the solid ones are.

Probably cheap pads with a lot of brake dust?

all brand new StopTech carbon ceramic pads and their cross-drilled and slotted rotors. I bedded them properly as their instructions. I also completely disassembled them and reassembled them using CRC brake stop-squeal on every contact surface. The squeal is beyond a minor annoyance... it is very loud... I am gaving to engage my hand brake while stopping just because engaging it absorbs the vibration/resonance causing all the noise.

Solid rotors are not particularly prone to brake noise, my SLK350 Merc has solid rotors with TRW pads. No problem.

AKEBONO brake pads are famously known not to squeal. It's what I put on my Crossfire.

I have Stoptech slotted rotors on the rear. I've also used many different brands of pads with no noise from the rear. The front squeals like a pig but that's the aggressive track pads on the front. (when cold) Never a peep from the rear. Can you reinstall the stock rear pads with the new rotors to eliminate a bad set of pads?

Did you put that brake grease on the rear of the pads?
l get a squeal from the rears backing out the garage but that is it, l have Akebono pads.

Since you can't go back to using the OE brakes (which we know didn't squeal) I'd try a set of AKEBONO pads. That's what I'd do if I were in your position.

Was just looking at parts on rockauto and noticed that the srt6 has vented rotors. so i assume they would fit if the calipers were also swapped to the srt ones

Your assumption is correct.

He is complaining of squeaking when using Akabenos.

This is incorrect, the pads and rotors are PowerStop.

Update:

I just installed a set of Akebono pads in the rear. After bedding in the brakes there is still a squeal. But it has been reduced by 80-90%. So I'll run with them for now and we'll see if there's any further improvement. If not, I might still look into converting to SRT6 brakes.

Until you mentioned it I never realized that the rear brakes on the SRT6 were vented. Tell me if I get anything below incorrect, as I'm going off of memory here.

1) You installed new rear discs & pads and the squealing began. (Power Stop, I think)
2) You replaced the pads and the squeal diminished by 80-90%

If that's correct then the only other component I'd suspect of causing the squeal is the discs. Make sense?

I think both the discs & calipers on the Crossfire are Brembo parts, someone correct me if I'm wrong. If so and you take the "stock" route in replacing your discs that's what I'd buy as you know they didn't squeal.

Yes, your memory is correct. The only incorrect thing is that I did have squeeling in the rear brakes, which I thought was from a wear indicator on the pads, i didn't realize until replacing them that the crossfire pads don't have a wear indicator tab and the pads weren't all that worn. Also the rear rotors were warped and causing noise while freely spinning, something I attributed to the previous owners excessive use of the e brake.
