Out of production parts
Out of production parts
When I had my Crossfire in the dealer for TPMS and BAS / ESP warning lights they said had codes indicating I needed to replace three parts: Sensor (5139072AA), Clockspring (68015028AA) and Clockspring (5101577AA), but that these are no longer available through Chrysler. Any suggestions on where I could find them? (supposed to be related to steering angle sensor, brake booster transducer and clockspring)
Re: Out of production parts
Not all the parts are from the SLK 320, some are Crossfire specific even mechanically.

The CrossfireForum.org site has electronic files for the Mercedes part numbers, use the Mercedes part number given. Crossfire specific parts start with 193 . These are harder to find so go to eBay for used parts. Chrysler dealers do not want to bother with our cars so forget them, likewise Mercedes couldn’t care less either. Look after the parts you have as you may have a hard time replacing them.

Re: Out of production parts
I went through this whole process of trying to fix my factory TPMS, but realized it wasn't worth it. For possibly a few hundred dollars to fix, all you get is a basic warning of low pressure, with no indication of even which tire it is.
I went with a $60 wireless TPMS system that took 1 minute to install, super accurate and also shows you current PSI of each tire and even the tire temps, which the factory one couldn't dream of offering.
All you do is install the valve stem cap sensors on each wheel, then stick your wireless digital receiver anywhere you want in the cabin. Literally the size of a deck of cards, rechargeable and most have a solar panel to keep it charged up.
The best $60 you can spend on your car, I put them on all my old cars and even our new Toyota which also came with a basic warning only system so I can see the individual tire pressures. You can find many of these systems for sale on Amazon. The only issue is the batteries in the sensors only last about 1-2 years, but that a easy $5 and 5 minute job to fix.

Re: Out of production parts
Exclude parts for the roadster roof, I do not think there is too many at all, things like the engine cover and badges, wheel etc but they are not mechanical.
