I am still looking for the rest of the info.

One of the other questions some people raised (and never got an answer about) was the fact that the C32 mounts the calipers on the leading edge and the SLK32 mounts on the trailing edge. Obviously you can swap left to right to mount the calipers in the correct orientation but is there any negatives to mounting the calipers differently.

GEEZE... Sorry to hear that... I thought the great advantage of the SRT6 was the bullet-proof MB auto trans... Sounds like you should just trade it in for some other type of car and go join their forum!!!

It is rare to hear about transmission problems on the AMG units.

Is your warranty over all ready? The dealer should take care of you no fuss, no muss.

I agree, that confuses me too... Maybe RESPDOC needs some help... I can't imagine that DC would let this problem continue with her car. Perhaps we need an intervention!!! LOL

nope, around 4,500 miles on the car total so far...I believe it to be a combo of small problems if taken care of the first time would have not grown into bigger ones and a lack of understanding by the servicing dealership on this transmission that lead into all the problems I am experiencing now with the tranny...

I spoke with my dealer today and they said that you have a perfect claim for the "Lemon Law". I would drop the car back at the dealer and demand a replacement if your car has been in service for more than 30 days with so few miles... Unless there are some extemporaneous circumstances!!!

If your current dealer won't take care of the problem take it to another dealer if one is near by. If you can't take it to another dealer request a meeting with the DC Zone Rep.

I feel your pain. When I owned a GM vehicle I could not take it into the dealer without having one issue or another with them. Got to the point where I just called GM's 800 number and they ensured the dealer did their job. PITA to have to do this every trip but better than multiple trips for the same problem.

Good idea... I can't quite understand his problem... If there is a "TERMINAL" tranny issue then it would only take a couple of weeks to have a dealer swap it out... But it appears that this has been going on for quite a few months... Maybe RESPDOC needs a DC intervention...

If he gives me his VIN# I can solve his problem post haste!!!
