As some of you know, I've been working on converting my SRT to the 6/4 AMG Brembo setup. Everything is moving along great, except for one thing...

In order to finish up my front-end conversion, I'll need a custom set of brackets to clear the factory sway bar mounts on the A-arm. I've searched around the web and found this to be a common occurrence, but have not found any leads for a place to acquire them.

If anyone can refer me to a reputable shop or hobbyist who can help me out with these, I would be very grateful!

Please note, I'm running 345mm discs up front.

Well, that was quick...

 

Okay..Okay.. was anxious to help out..then realized a little plasma burning and a bend or two in some plate steel wasn't going to get it there.. We do weld up UL certified tanks.. but no way I'm offering to do "life dependent" parts and welding ears on to get the configuration.

 

Haha, no worries. Just thought I'd bust on ya. Appreciate the enthusiasm though! I'm sure someone will step up. Money to be made, and well, I have brakes to wear out over here.

 

I asked a company to produce custom brackets.
Will reply here, if there are any news.

Whats the $$ estimate on the entire brake upgrade? I was thinking of just upgrading to the SRT setup but if prices are similar.... well who ever said overkill was a bad thing?

 

If the spindles are the same (personally do not know), then you could be looking at somewhere between 5-800 for the brackets alone. Keep in mind, this is for an entire bracket, versus shaving down the lobe(s) etc....


As for the rest, if you hop into my thread, you can spec out the parts/prices from there.

Ballpark, you'll have around $3,000 to $3,500 invested.
