Question Headlight Clip for High Beam Bulb

So, I'm not finding an actual part number for this thing, but it's the little thing that looks like it was made from a paper clip that holds the high beam bulb in place inside the assembly.
Two questions on that front.

1. Does anybody know if you can get one of those without buying a whole friggin' headlight assembly? If so, do you know the part number by chance?
2. Has anyone here found a way around that thing by making one? Seriously think I could make one out of one of those thicker paperclips, but was curious if anyone had tried that to any success already.

Thanks, folks.

2. has to be made from piano wire, Eric Hyden has the wire and the jig for making them.

You da bomb, Ala. Thanks a heap!
So the Saab clip will work in our light assembly just fine?
And how do I get in touch with Hyden if the site you sent is out of stock or something like that?

I don't know if he is on this forum, but he is in several groups over on Facebook. Just type in hyden in search, he's the one in New Carlisle OH.

Do a Google search on the part number 5400007 and it appears in more places.$8.45 at one place. They are on eBay as well.
Remember search is your friend.

180,
1. Why would I be stoked about 8.45 when they're 7 bucks at the original link?
2. If you'll notice in the first message above, I ask for the part number. Meaning I didn't have it until Ala helped out. Can't search for what I don't have, man.

Thanks anyway, big guy...

I just gave you a hint that they are widely available that’s all, I just gave the price at the one place I looked at to get an idea of the price of the part.
I even have the part number listed in the link in my signature.
No thanks required, any help given is used by others as well, so keep your one eye 😉 open in other posts as you might learn something you can use in the future.
