Wanted - SRT-6 Supercharger Pulley-StockSteel
I am in need of (1) stock steel supercharger pulley, New or Used. Retainer nut and washer would be needed as well. Ed at PSE Superchargers needs me to have a pulley on the one he is rebuilding so that he can test the unit. He said he would be interested in a couple of pulleys as well, new or used. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for that response..that's a good looking pulley, but, I'm not fond of the idea of purchasing an item from Moscow. It might be made in a shop in Moscow run by some guy in Germany that machined them in 03 or 04 originally for Mercedes, but, they will need an agent in the USA before I can comfortably order from that link...Before I take one off of the black srt to have it copied at a machine shop locally, it would be nice to have all to the technical specs of the original pulley including the alloy type.~ meanwhile ..I'm searching.
I looked at Robs site and didnt see the pulley and clutch assy. I am now in need of the forum's '04 MBslk32amg VIN and their superceded part number for the 04 pulley assembly. I can never find that link.
Send him an email, sometimes he has stuff that isn't listed on the website.

Thanks for the replies. Seems as if a stock steel one is very rare. I removed the pulley from the Rescue SRT to send to PSE to use for final testing after his work is done. I noticed on that used pulley, which was a used unit when I got it to replace the failed one a couple of years ago, that there was not much "meat" left on it before the flywheel gets into the rivets. So, without obtaining a second mortgage, I bought the only 2 known new pulley and clutch assy. I will reinstall the new pulley n bearing back on the Rescue SRT and have a new one on the freshly rebuilt SC, and have a used pulley on the shelf with not much meat...I didn't want to risk ruining the SC on the Rescue SRT, so I had to bite the bullet. A freshly rebuilt SC without a new pulley..is kind of half-assed, so I bit the bullet there as well. I am almost afraid to remove and inspect the pulley on the black SRT, but, I don't see much dust, and she aint leaking.
Just a thought, you might contact Adam Booth in Pensacola.
He has quite an extensive machine shop and just might make you one or two new ones.

I took some heat on my views and I was later proved correct. So anyone who wants to buy an after market pulley go right ahead.
Thanks! Where were you 3 weeks ago? You might post it in the FOR SALE category, because, if you read the threads above, you will discover that this problem is solved and I am no longer searching for a pulley.
Some of the pulleys have a black finish, I think these are aluminum pulleys and they tend to split in half.
They never seem to say what the pulley material is.
The weak parts of these pulleys are the springs and the riveting of the springs in the aluminum ones..

This is why I made the decision to purchase OEM pulley/clutch units made of stainless steel. I have had the experience of an aluminum aftermarket pulley splitting. It was on the car when I obtained it, and I was unaware that it had been previously changed. The 2 pulleys that I purchased, from what I am told, have their origins in the UK from Fiat. I should be ordering gaskets from Rob when it arrives.
~ Remanufactured supercharger with new OEM pulley installed along with a spare NEW oem pulley and my old pulley from the rescue srt are FINALLY on the way here. Should arrive next week.
~ The remanufactured supercharger with the new oem pulley installed and the spare oem pulley with shims along with my old pulley from the rescue srt came in yesterday. My old shims got used on the new pulley and now I am in need of another set of shims.
