'08 limited coupe system complete WOW!!!
STEALTH lol
that was my main motive i wanted a banging system that is not exposed at all. i wanted to run an active 3 way system with 1 subwoofer yet still retain space to throw my backpack or groceries or some luggage for road trips.
up front i am running focal 165k2p component in the stock location with lots of deadener and closed cell foam in the doors.
in the stock subwoofer location i am running the 165kbe add on to the 165k2p to make it a 3 way.
i have control of all crossovers, slopes, gains, eq, and time alignment from the head unit. i can change any setting on the fly to maximize sound quality and blend in all the speakers.
the mid bass from the 165kbe blends in so well with the 12w7 you can barely tell when the sub kicks in and the midbass goes away the transition is very smooth. i still have plenty of tuning and i am waiting on my rta mic to come in so i can really tweak the system to its potential.
enjoy the pics let me know if you have any questions.

Re: '08 limited coupe system complete WOW!!!
thank you guys and yes it does sound amazing i do not miss the sound of the stock subs bottoming out.
It took a lot of time and patience to put it in but it has paid off and came together really nice and i still have decent amount of trunk which was my main goal.
I have lots of tuning to do and to get rid of the slight distortion i have at the top end by eq and adjusting all the gains. it is a fun experience and luckily i got a pretty fair deal on alot of the equipment buying from an authorized dealer. once i have the audio how i like it i will probably rip out the radio and throw in my carputer with the flipout 7" touch screen vga monitor lol.
my next project i am focusing on is finishing up the HID's that will be a nice ugprade from stock. only think bad about the system is the added weight which is probably around 250 pounds but i will enjoy my car year round and no longer need to worry about throwing sand bags in the winter lol. time to do some performance mods but really want to save all my performance money for a super charger or v8 drop in.

It looks like it came from the factory like that.

since the system is so complex there is many setting to tweak and tuning will take some time for sure i am gonna play with it by the ear and then grab a laptop and mic and tune it using audio software. I will keep everyone updated with plenty of pics lol.
thanks

Wow Faiz, I knew based on reading your posts that we were in for something nice, but WOW.
The craftsmanship and stealth of the install are amazing, let me know when you are going to be in Indy and you can finish mine for me LOL

Nice thing about the system is that if i ever want to hit the track i can remove both beauty panels, the complete sub enclosure, the 1000/1 amp, 300/4 amp and battery real easily and just leave the amp rack which is MDF so not to heavy and 1 amp weighing 18 pounds to power the components in the door. I will relocate the system battery upfront and use that as a starting battery it does 950 CA and 800 CCA and only 26 pounds.

Honestly this install was not that bad at all since the hardest part would have been fiber glassing a box for the sub. The amp rack i had some help from my buddy but the overall design and component selection was my decision. I did the deadening, wiring, and tuning
Nazar sells a real nice one that we saw him bring up on the board and it was perfect for my application. i would have like the option of passenger side or driver side box cause my dumb *** probably would go with 2 12 w7 lolz.

i think i hate about the box is it covers up the light on the driver side in the trunk but the position of the sub is optimal since the bass blends in so well being directly behind you.
i plan to extend the wires to the harness for the light and relocate it to the passenger side.
if you have any questions or need help post up or send me a PM.
BTW i was in Indy during spring break and went to got visit the indianapolis zoo, IMAX, Circle center mall, and some other locations. Really nice area and thinking about applying there for some position for work in the finance sector. My brother use to work for Pricewaterhousecooper in indy and transfered to DC now.
thanks
