2004 Crossfire Lease
2004 Crossfire Lease
Hello everyone,
I am new to this forum.
I am seriously considering leasing a 2004 Crossfire. The quote that I got from the local dealer is $369 (no money down) which translates to:
Price: $31,600
Residual:$19,320
Money Factor: 0.0007 (about 1.6%APR)
Is this a good deal? I have seen lower prices for the 2004 ($29,000 on Carmax). Do you think I should negotiate on the price?
Thanks

i hate seeing these lease rates.
i leased mine Oct 03...2k off sticker...3k down...48 mo...$439 a month tax included.
in Oct i was the first to get anything off sticker but now the lease programs are great. if i would have waited a few more months...i would of saved my 3k down and $100 a month. oh well...i still love my crossfire.

I'm also a new member here and I recently leased my 2004 Crossfire through a Buyer Program. I don't know if you have Costco or a similar "Auto/Buyer Club" in your area, but there should be a means to get pre-negotiated pricing or deals from select dealerships.
I went to a dealership that's 40 miles away from me so that I could obtain the pre-negotaited lease offer (instead of the lease offer at the Chrysler web site that relates to the Base Coupes with the Manual Tranny as far as I know). My local dealers all wanted close to $400.00 per month for a limited coupe with auto and all options except NAV [NO MONEY DOWN].
The bottom-line: I'm paying $325.00 per month for a 36-month lease with 15K miles per year allowance. Again, NO MONEY DOWN! I don't recall the residual in my contract, but that's another component to be aware of in the lease contract.
The dealers should be fairly motivated on the 2004s - now that the 2005s are rolling onto the lots. Best of luck, I'm sure you'll find a good deal.

Andrew, I thought you Bought and not Leased because of all those fancy mods that cost time and money...... How does that work on a lease? I guess if you turn it in after the lease, someone will get a nicely modded Xfire
most of my cars i sale out right or i post on swapalease.com to find someone to assume my lease...my tasteful mods and excellent care make the car desirable for most buyers.
i posted my 02' M3 on swapalease and it was spoken for in 2 weeks...it's a great site.
