Default 2004 Crossfire Lease

Hello everyone,

I am new to this forum.
I am seriously considering leasing a 2004 Crossfire. The quote that I got from the local dealer is $369 (no money down) which translates to:

Price: $31,600
Residual:$19,320
Money Factor: 0.0007 (about 1.6%APR)

Is this a good deal? I have seen lower prices for the 2004 ($29,000 on Carmax). Do you think I should negotiate on the price?

Thanks

I don't know where you live, but if you live on the Left Coast and want to do any of our Hook-Ups, 12,000/year will NEVER be enough!!!

Welcome and good luck!

i hate seeing these lease rates.

i leased mine Oct 03...2k off sticker...3k down...48 mo...$439 a month tax included.

in Oct i was the first to get anything off sticker but now the lease programs are great. if i would have waited a few more months...i would of saved my 3k down and $100 a month. oh well...i still love my crossfire.

Well here's my details...

2005 Base.
Sticker $30,095. I got them down to $27,000.

With the 3/36 lease I'm paying $329/month from 0 down. I then tacked on the wheel/tire insurance deal for an extra $10.

I'm the same, had I waited a month I could have saved a lot of money. Grrrr. Still, that's the way it goes sometimes.

I leased my 04 for 375/month, including taxes, oil changes, 20,000/mpy.

My residual is roughtly 17700, with a purchase price of 29,800. This was a brand new Crossfire. I traded in a suv that had 1500 in equity which i used for my down payment.

Not too bad i think.

costucu:

I'm also a new member here and I recently leased my 2004 Crossfire through a Buyer Program. I don't know if you have Costco or a similar "Auto/Buyer Club" in your area, but there should be a means to get pre-negotiated pricing or deals from select dealerships.

I went to a dealership that's 40 miles away from me so that I could obtain the pre-negotaited lease offer (instead of the lease offer at the Chrysler web site that relates to the Base Coupes with the Manual Tranny as far as I know). My local dealers all wanted close to $400.00 per month for a limited coupe with auto and all options except NAV [NO MONEY DOWN].

The bottom-line: I'm paying $325.00 per month for a 36-month lease with 15K miles per year allowance. Again, NO MONEY DOWN! I don't recall the residual in my contract, but that's another component to be aware of in the lease contract.

The dealers should be fairly motivated on the 2004s - now that the 2005s are rolling onto the lots. Best of luck, I'm sure you'll find a good deal.

I could get my lease transfered to you through my dealership. My XF has less than a 1000miles and you would only have 33 paymets at lessthan what you are looking at. Just a thought.

Bullseye, You were saying the other day somthing about having a virus or whatever that is adding internet links to your quotes. I see its still doing that and wanted to help you get rid of it. Two free things I would recomend is....

1. F-secure is a free scan to check for virus's spyware and stuff at www.f-secure.com

2. Spybot is an excellent free program also at www.safer-networking.org

--------------------------------

Also I sometimes use free "Adaware" software at www.lavasoft.de
and another good free scan of virus' is at http://www.housecall.antivirus.com/h...start_corp.asp

Its all free stuff and should help you discover any virus, spyware, malware and other baddies, let us know what you find

i will remove most of my mods if i ride out the 48 month lease.

most of my cars i sale out right or i post on swapalease.com to find someone to assume my lease...my tasteful mods and excellent care make the car desirable for most buyers.

i posted my 02' M3 on swapalease and it was spoken for in 2 weeks...it's a great site.

Thank you all for your replies. The Auto/Buyer Club sounds like a good idea. Thanks Fat Gino. I'll keep you posted on my progress.

I feel pretty lucky after looking at what everyone else is paying.... I put nothing down and pay $316.00 per month for 39 months including tax for my brand new '04 6 speed... DCX epp discount of course I could have had an automatic for $ 306.00 but I had to have the manny..
