Aftermarket grill mod
Aftermarket grill mod
I picked up a used grille from a forum member and started to modify it.
I wanted to match the center spine of the car.
It's just in primer and needs some more fitting but I think it is a good start.

Re: Aftermarket grill mod
Nice job! I would try a photoshop job to car paint color. The contrasting colors with the mess strikes a nerve somewhere. Does anyone have experience with a photo-shop like program to match the car paint color, seems to me that would look sweeter but what do I know... Not complaining, just an observation!

Haha. I was thinking the same thing when I was welding the center spine in. I tried different shapes so it would look less Pontiacish but this shape looked best with the center spine as the top is the same width as where it ends on the hood.
Making it thinner looked way out of place.
I was hoping once it was body color it would not be reminiscent of a Pontiac.
I guess everything has to look like something. Lol
