Light out indicator, little stumped...
Light out indicator, little stumped...
My dash "light out" indicator came on during the weekend. After trying a few different things I found that it doesn't go off until I turn the lights on one click (parking lights). Problem is, I checked all the parking lights and they all work. Correct me if I'm wrong, at that stage the lights on the indicator circuit should be the eyelid lights, front and rear side marker lights, and tail lights. All of these are working and I haven't changed any to LED's.
The only change I have made recently is replacing the interior MAP and trunk lights with LED's. The threads said these aren't on the indicator circuit and the warning light doesn't go on until I turn on the parking lights.
Any thoughts???

Licencse plate lights. Check both of them as there are two. But, if one is out you will still get a lightout indicator.
Kind of a neat system. You will not notice the Plate light is out when it is only one, but will know the second one is out when the cops pull you over .
