The AUTOmatic transmission is known to leak around the electrical connector. It's an easy DIY fix if that is the problem.
Any shop can fix it, just search here for the instructions on how to perform the repair.
As to the heater quitting, you'd need to be more specific about just what isn't working and what it is/is not doing.
There are common problems with these cars, and the heater/AC fan quitting is one of them.
