John and Ella's SRT Roadster (the higher mileage one) is suffering the same thing. I found that Fuse 15 is not feeding the duovalve (it also feeds the "Rest" pump) and am going to run a new 12 volt battery feed this upcoming weekend. Apparenntly this is going to be another common issue with these cars as they age. One thing - I wonder if this will turn out to be an SRT only thing?

In any event, the OAT thing was something that I read about last year on the Benz forums, that is, that the OAT information is important to the ECU. Your post just confirms what I never really doubted anywa.
