They ran new (nicely and carefully hidden) wires to both systems and everything is now working as it should and looks factory fresh. NICE WORK!
For John and Ella's SRT Roadster (the one they drive quite a bit, it sits in their carport), I went a different way around this. I got into the harness near the duovalve and added a fuseholder and went right to the battery feed. Did my best to make it look good.

Also, I added a note to the card in the fusebox to indicate that "Fuse 15 has been moved to the battery junction box." Fixed in 20 minutes for $5.49 in parts.
