First nice day of our late-arriving Spring - hibernation is over....WOO HOO!!!! Pulled off the cover, put in the battery, checked tire pressure and went for a spin. Feels good to have the Crossfire back on the road!
Wow, a real 2006, phenomenal find, and priced a lot less then I would of expected! Congrats! I have a lot of family that lives in around Brisbane.

I am back from Brisbane with the ssb coupe, a demented satnav and full on traffic at 3.45pm in Brisbane was an adventure.
I love Brisbane , Surfers Paradise ,the Gold Coast and Noosa too but i am so glad i live up in the hills of northen nsw and dont have to deal with That on an everyday basis
I am very happy wih the car ,its immaculate and been well loved, drives perfect . i like the SSB colour ( never seen it before ,reminds me of that silver the gullwings came in} and the Medina wheels on it are really nice too.
i will take pics after i wash it.

I got mine out of the storage unit Saturday and went for a beautiful drive on some of my favorite country roads. Absolutely perfect weather, 78 degrees and not a cloud in the sky. I would suspect around here we get maybe 20 or 25 days a year like this. Once I got home I did some minor detailing and tried a new tire glaze that is suppose to stand up to 100 car washes. Since I never actually wash the car (usually just use a spray detailer) this stuff should last quite a while. It actually dries to the touch.
The wife suggested we go out for dinner in the car so it was time for cruise #2. Drove for another hour before deciding where to eat. All in all a excellent day all around.
Lovely car ! Your Rimblades look great especially on those chrome rims.
How about adding these polished stainless windshield frame covers and chrome side vents from CHROMETEC. High Quality Tuning für Mercedes-Benz
I have a mate with the same red coupe , he has these bits on his ,it looks wicked .
i will get a pic .
Following the crossfire new owner plan and getting there. RCM soldered, sticky ignition fixed, replaced crankshaft sensor with orginal and have new ignition key. Also some headlight bulbs replaced - need stronger lights suggestions welcome - and need to replace driver side lift switch cover but am only find grey abs dark grey? Where do I find interior color codes? Drive her last night and she runs sweet. Getting close to 100k and will do the services of oil, radiator flush and manual trans and rear end fluid change(?) any links give me on that appreciated. Debating on soft tint not real dark and affordable but good vented rotors.
The vented rotors can be found just about anywhere but I always send an email to rob@needswings with my list of needs or wants. Most of the time his price is equal to or better than than I find locally.
And this is the result. I will add a night time shot later tonight when it gets dark, but its pretty sweet. And it was dead simple, just don't cross the wires over the brass lines, or you will short it and blow a 10a fuse.

Looks good! Trunk seems to be well lit. Might consider this myself.
Had the brake fluid replaced, this fixed the intermittent BAS/ESP light issue.
Over the past two weeks have had the headliner redone, had the center link, idler arm and steering dampener replaced. Along with 4 new KYB shocks, new Bridgestone Pole Position tires all around, alignment and MGP brake caliper covers.
Today was a happy day for my SSB Coupe. Took the time to debadge her, busted out the Nulens and cleaned up the headlights, and then sent her in for new tires and an alignment. I can't wait to have her back tomorrow, already miss being in the drivers seat.
I did housekeeping today, unplugged and cleaned every connector I could find. Also cleaned bugs from my heat exchanger and straightened fins and sanded my bumper, preparing for a repaint, with the hood to follow.
