Max your car looks awesome now that you have it dropped ,,, I have been swaping Spacers for a week now trying to get the right setup , the Kuhmo tires are wider thru the sidewalls than the Hankooks so I was getting a rubbing issue ,and I don't have much room to deal with , I got my 5mm spacers today in the mail so tonight I will see if that cures the problem ,,,I have a trip planned to Spartinburg Saturday for a Dyno appointmeent and a run up Saluda Mtn. so i hope this works out....

Got my 74mm TB in from carguts and put a mirror polish on the throat and plate with one of the 3000 grit pads maxcichon gave me.
Installed it, did a throttle reset and took 'er out for a spin.
Now I have to hold on with both hands when I floor it.
Quite a difference.
Idle remains same, CAI temp seems a bit cooler, and MPG seems same, maybe a bit better.
All in all - for $85 not a bad thing.

I fixed my WW fluid level sensor yesterday, hopefully, took it out, cleaned and replaced it and today I see the tank is leaking, bummer. I guess the sensor or pump are leaking around the seals. It is an awkward job to remove the tank, guess I'll be an expert when it's fixed.
I finished claying the car while the puddle grew. The fluid is running down inside the rocker panel. It is not overfilled, so that's not it. I should have put some sealant around the ends of the sensor and pump just like LugNut did in his write up on this fix. I have to fix it or nearly a gallon of fluid will be on the garage floor.
I don't think the topsider will work as the hose will not go around the bend in the filler neck.

That was 6 months ago and it's still holding. I also added the big metal washer for support at the bottom of the tank.
( Matter of fact, the washer is now part of the seal, I just gooped it all up real good around the washer and tank. )

I don't have any of the plastic stuff, just the 90 deg 3" hose and the 3" aluminum NW CAI.
The MAF is in the CAI, remember taking the harness apart to get enough wire to connect it ?
Nice weather here, heated garage.
Washed/waxed, detailed.
Always seem to find dirt!
Checked for rust under door...nope.
Trickled charged battery.
Removed after market badges on wheels.
Detailed wheels.
Ran engine for 5-10 minutes.
Cover back on.....Super Bowl.
Bed by half-time, like every year

Any reason you did not stick to OEM and buy some of the badass AMG sets we can bolt on?

The pump and sensor grommets are not leaking.
Bad News.
The leak comes from the witness of the mold parting line at the bottom of the tank where it always leaks from.
I guess it was weak and removing the tank was the last straw.
I made up a plate, laid the plate on a bed of silicone, covered the location spigot with silicone, put the rubber locater back on and filled the locater with more silicone. The silicone will not stick to the polyethylene tank but I'm hoping it will stop the leak by forming one big gasket.
Duct tape and silicone, a mans friends in the hour of need. If it can't be fixed with these or a big hammer then it can't be fixed at all.

Absolutely nothing, but I did wash the golf cart after I hit some range *****.
Ahhhh, yesterday I washed them and put a quickie spray wax on mine.

I took out the OEM battery, cleaned out the mouse nest under the 'black box' beside it and looked for chewed wires, I found no damage.
To get at the nest I took out the battery tray and promptly dropped a screw down the big hole beneath the tray.
Through the hole I could see the WW tank that I repaired and installed yesterday, but there was no sight of the screw.
I blindly probed around down the hole with a magnetic/clawed retriever, after having no luck I gave up and pulled the retriever out for the last time and the screw was on the magnet. I put the tray and new battery back into place, and thanked my lucky stars.
There was nothing obviously wrong with OEM Varta battery but it has been there for at least seven years, time to retire it. They are good batteries. I replaced it with a CTC 'Eliminator' these are made by Exide I think. Basically the same as the OEM with two folding handles but black not white, it had a plug in one end I fitted the Varta spill tank in the other end.
