What did you do to your Crossfire today?
After over three months of hibernation in the NE, I've had enough... I know it's still technically winter but I've seen little to no snow whatsoever this year and its been atypically warm so far. So today I removed my car cover, uncovered my tail pipes, charged my battery and checked the fluids...
That and hit triple digits on the speedo...
Good Bye Winter Blues!!! Hello Spring Speed Fever!!!

. I painted mine while they were still on the car. It was pretty simple, really. I jacked the car up, removed the wheels and painted the calipers using a foam brush and spray paint (spray the paint in a small cup / bowl then dip the brush in it and apply the paint). I applied two coats and within 20 minutes I was on the road

But, I just assaulted them with, rubbing compound, 0000 steel wool(inside) then wax.
And lots of elbow grease
I love my XF!xf4.jpg

i know sounds crazy but was alot easier for me to do it this way..
Installed the Becker Nav again, nice and warm outside 58°.
No reverse wires hooked up to it yet and I wonder if it really needs them, what do they do? After all how far am I going to travel in reverse?
Cargo cover in, auto dim mirror in, windshield washer sensor fixed (I hope), leaking hatch fixed (I hope) and the oil and filter changed. Paddles next.
Took me three months but who's in a rush?
Soon be time to get it out permanently.

That's why we call them "Stealerships"
We did our not-too-often commute...24 miles round-trip...found a loose spark plug wire when I was tightening screws on the valve covers...gotta check for leaks, now!
