Hello,
First time posting on our crossfire forum. Went to Chrysler dealership in San Diego, California to see if they could possibly reset the tpms (they were unable to). I recently replaced the tire pressure sensors and put brand new tires on my crossfire srt6. Also there is a leak from the valve cover on the driver side of the car. Is anybody able to inform me on how i can resolve those 2 issues. Also the vin of my crossfire has not been registered to the forum. Can someone point me in the right direction to register that with the website.
Thanks for your help, I have only had my crossfire for 2 weeks now as my father gave it to me as a birthday gift.

Welcome to CrossfireForum.org. I'll try to help you with your questions . . . but first I have a question for you . . . Did you mean for your screen name to be jcsrt6?
What brand / part number of TPMS sensors did you buy / install on your SRT6? When you say the Chrysler Stealership in San Diego as unable to program the sensors, is that because they did not have the knowledge or equipment to do it OR was it because they could not get a reading from your "new" sensors (likely not the right ones). Frankly, the Crossfire TPMS system is obsolete and many owners have chosen to just disable it instead of investing in new wheel sensors and then paying to have them programed to work (They are NOT self learning). This is what I recommend . . . Look here and read through the thread: https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...tml#post537663
The leak in your driver's side valve cover is likely from the breather section (separate upper piece mounted on the valve cover). There is no gasket on those just a sealant that breaks down over time and they ALL start leaking from there. You just need to remove the screws / remove the breather section / clean everything up / reseal it and reinstall it.
Now some advice . . .
Tell your father that your new Crossfire needs some repairs and ask if he will pay for them? (Just kidding - that is a generous gift from your father).
1) NEVER take your Crossfire to s Chrysler Stealership. At this point in time most know NOTHING about these cars but many have gotten very good at getting into your wallet. Find a local independent repair shop that specializes in Mercedes and German car repairs and develop a relationship with them.
2) Join your local Crossfire Facebook group. Look here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/163428650524426/ Become active in the group and get to know other Crossfire owners in your area. They can be helpful with repair advise and many even have local "tech days" where they get together to fix common Crossfire issues.
4) Always check this forum FIRST for information about any issue or question you might have with your Crossfire. Someone here has "been there / done that" and this forum has archives of EVERY issue you could possibly have with a Crossfire. You need to learn to use the "search function" and be able to read the search results about your specific issue / question. At the top right of every forum page see the box that says "Threads"? Click on the arrow and choose "advanced" from the drop down menu. Then enter your search criteria (for example "leaking valve cover") / hit the search button at the bottom of the page and see what comes up.

Reason: Misspelling
Well that was easy. Remove 2 clips, unplug the fan and wiggle it out.
Bearings were dry so I sprayed it with some liquid wrench on the back bearing, drilled a hole in plastic on the front and did the same. after that I doused both sides in oil, hook it up to my battery charger and let it run for a few minutes.
re-installing it took longer than getting it out, but she's back on the road for now.
Obviously this is just a Band-aid fix until the replacement fan arrives next week.
