You might consider contacting BestStickers.net and inquire whether they would create the lettering per your spec. This would be handy for some of us as lettering comes off and is getting harder & harder to replace. This webpage shows they already have the letter formatting.

Beneath the battery tray

The white scuttle plate behind the grille & headlights has only been washed with soap & water thus far. Notice how dingy it looks compared to the shock towers & other white paint which has had a polish & wax? The battery & overflow tank were removed so I could really get to everything.

New vanilla steering wheel

C32 AMG 4-piston caliper & hardware kit

C32 AMG 4-piston caliper

C32 AMG 4-piston caliper

I did an engine detail and received new parts from a couple Mercedes-Benz dealers like this spiffy new vanilla steering wheel. But it appears they have sent me brand new C32 AMG calipers which must be a mistake, right? I mean... whatever could I do with them? No one appreciates the daily dilemmas I face; a simple man trying to survive in a complex world. BTW today is the two-week anniversary of the Crossfire living in my garage, so I'm trying not to beat myself up for not having accomplished much yet.

I received an original Mopar windscreen (windblocker) part# 82209107AB from Quirk Chrysler Jeep in Quincy, Mass today. It was manufactured in Germany on 04/17/2013 and bought by Quirk on 05/01/2019 from MoPar Parts Warehouse at 21555 Sherwood Ave., Warren, MI 48091. 05/01/2019 is of course before I ever ordered it off EBAY but it shows Quirk didn't have it very long before selling it on EBAY for just $94.64, which was a price way too good for me to pass up. It's just interesting the way Quirk operates and I thought I'd share the details with you guys. If you search that part number on EBAY Quirk still has 1 left at that price, otherwise most other people on EBAY want around $300 for it.

Whoa that was quick! I mention it on here and someone snaps it right up. Where's my sales commission? :-)

Hatch window tint film started "bubbling up" early last year. Have just been putting off having it replaced as long as I could still see out the hatch window. Well the day finally came where I took the Coupe up to Tint Solutions & had them remove that old film and replace it. Knowing the rear window defrost grid existed in that window, I was concerned about whether they could remove the old film w/o damaging that defrost grid. Left the car with them since I didn't know how difficult removing the old film would be. Tint shop called me about an hour after I got home & said the car was ready. Hatch window looks really great! Nice to finally have that repair over & done with. Removal of old film - $60; Install of new film - $100.

U didn't say how much U paid. I had the same thing done last week also $100.00
they spray , then put a piece of tint over the existing ,,,, let it set for 15 to 20 min. then pull off both, and it works with/out messing up the heat strips.
Mine really looks great,, i can now see out the rear view mirror LOL

Mine was 40 to remove and 60 to install. maybe your tint was a better quality, even though they told me it was the best tint money can buy...

This shop had 3 levels of tint film. The basic version was $80 to install. I chose the carbon version, which was $100 to install. There was a top grade that was $140 to install. I told the shop to match as close to the film they removed. He said the film on my car was 32% and their version was 35% (might have been the other way around; close enough either way). These tint shops exist like Chinese or Mexican eateries; they are everywhere! Quality of tint film probably varies just as much.

I have had only 3M window tint film installed
Always had good results with a lifetime warranty against bubbling or peeling

Sounds like a good deal, especially the lifetime warranty. Gotta go back & look at the warranty I received.

Step one make it one piece again.
Getting ready to repair the top windshield trim piece that was struck by a redwing Blackbird.

Make sure you attach it correctly otherwise you’ll be looking to replace it when it flies off.

It already did that, and was run over by at least one car and a semi truck, but point taken

I looked at the price for a used one on eBay. Way to high, Not happening.

It's fiberglass so I'm going to rebuild it myself.

I thought it was just dented a bit, that looks like a write off to me. Maybe you have more patience though. Good luck.

It's one piece again, letting the resin cure, and then I will start on the back side repair and strengthening. Once that is complete I can start working on the front.

2 ways to fix this.
1 requires money, the other time, and I don't have money.

While watching the resin dry I did a CSI Style investigation.
1.Having a full I witness account from the Driver (me) I next examined the car.
2. Impact site shows evidence consistent with a bird strike. ( Mostly a blood smear on the windshield @ the site of impact and trailing blood and guts on the roof.)
3.

Note crack between attachment points above driver which are consistent with Witness account of where the bird impacted the vehicle. Driver also mentioned that there was a flapping noise. Right after impact This leads me to believe that the driver's side portion is now flapping in the wind.

Exhibit 2. Now that the first couple mounting points have failed it placed the left most mounting point as the Fulcrum of a lever. It appears to have put up a valient fight but inevitably failed. The last mount didn't stand a chance. It is my belief that the Car and Semi are blameless for the damage
