Gearbox oil 40k and engine oil every year but I only do approx 4k miles a year. Did the supercharger oil earlier this year as well. I like to keep the oils clean as possible
Oil change in another 10K miles, how long do you go between changes?
I do an oil change every 2 years. I typically don't put more than 3000-4000 miles on the car during that 2-yr period. So well below the 7k that the FSS says to perform an oil change.
With the oils that meet the newer M-B specs, an oil change is recommended at longer intervals (10k).
I’ve carried out a lot of mods on my srt and I think I’m set in my ways changing the oil every year, plus it gives me a little something to do ready for summer 😂

My car gets an oil change every year I have put on less than 2,200 miles a year on average. I let that slip in 2020 due to the Covid shut down so it was done around 3,000 miles in two years. Spend your money and keep the economy healthy and the oil companies stock worth while.
When they say 7k they are crazy, it is one way of selling new cars I guess.
I did nothing to the car, put air in the tires yesterday, I think it will not go on the road again till next year.☹️
I will rewire the radio in the winter, it is not up to my better standards, and the wires need lengthening.
EDIT
The front passenger low beam bulb blew yesterday, I will replace them both with 65W bulbs. SparkieSRT6 used the 65W bulbs and saw no problems.
When I tried different bulb makes in the car some years ago I could see no difference in the two I tested, I left them mismatched. I have a HID set they are really bright, but I took them out for some reason.

Maintenance:
fixed Rear spoiler leak and cleaned panel underneath, replaced vacuum Locking Module, replaced broken seat belt covers, replaced tiny bilge Intercooler pump with Bosch 010 (with it's 20 5/8 to 3/4 hose clamps), diff fluid
Snapped a tensioner, waiting on a replacement now.
NeedsWings:
Pulley Saver Kit (mostly), tweaked Y-Pipe, Intake Manifolds, DCAI, Intercooler, Isolation Kit, replaced Plug Wires and Plugs. several were almost welded in there. took a lot of pbBlaster, cussing and cutting on my hands.
Also ordered new Valve covers since the breathers and oil fill port are leaking bad.
Big thanks to Rob at @NeedsWings for the issues encountered and overnighting me a tensioner and pulley. really great to work with.
Did you break the tensioner taking the belt off?
I just replaced my AC comp. and know its a beyatch to hold the tensioner and get the belt slipped on in the itty bitty space. I received several lacerations from sharp edges getting it on from topside.
Last belt lasted 50,000 till AC locked up and smoked it.
Good work btw!
When I did the pulley delete and new belt, it was tight but with a long bar and socket the tensioner wasn’t too bad, like you said a few little cuts. Had more fun and games doing the gearbox oil change 😂
That's a lot of work/maintenance, kudos to you. The lights look brand new what did you use to restore them?
PJ
Thanks!
Mostly just various grit sandpaper and about 3 hours by hand. Then a sealant once done. I have questions about how well the sealant did based on how they look now though oil and coolant did get on them. The left one still has a haze, but I think it's from internal gunk. Going to use the methanol fix suggested on the forum.

Actually it was just by removing the 15mm to swap the pulley, it broke off and became freespinning. Then I had to break the snout to get access to the 2nd E12 or 14 bolt to remove the tensioner.
My hands look like hamburger meat too but from changing the LEDs and plugs/wires, especially those back 2 cylinders and that was with the wire and plug tool from MB lol.

Hoping for a mechanic Ai robot in the near future for such tasks, it'd save a lot of skin...or at least a wet nurse to bandage up the scrapes.
I used a regular boot puller and didnt suffer a bit swappping to fancy red wires. They seemed more a pain to get seated than remove, though neither is childs play.
Carry on!
Picked it up from the indy shop where the transmission was serviced, including the conductor plate, and the cabin air filter was replaced. Shifting is now smooth as silk up and down the gears, especially third, which was starting to show signs of imperfection.
Next up? Cleaning, polishing, getting the windows tinted, and then ...
Nice, funny see it on that side uk cars are on the opposite side. You can get a sticker with your car details that sits on top of the supercharge on the square area between the cross overs if your interested in that, think it was from Germany can’t remember the company as I got mine last year bet it’s on one of the forums.you can just see it above the bottom cross over better looking straight down
I’m sorry I don’t, I got mine from Latemodel. Think it would be best to post on this forum I’m sure someone should be able to help you. Happy hunting
Got with Chris, had to buy a shift kit and tcm but I got him to sell me his last brace lol.
In other updates, changed supercharger oil, engine cowl due to some broken plastic and a messed up washer nozzle as well as some trim it was missing, also finished a big 3 upgrade for the charging system.
Finally got the car back together and it drives completely differently!
