So today I fixed my glove box..and started on my motor mounts. Should finish those tomorrow. And waiting on my center bearing to come for middle column on the drive shaft.
then start the brake in on the clutch.
thats looks amazing what did you use ? Great job!!
I used a full bottle of "Simple Green" on a cool motor and sprayed everywhere with the alternator covered with plastic and allowed it to penetrate and then rinsed well with a garden hose. Then remove the plastic and took a drive and allowed the engine heat to dry the engine and engine bay
I then applied "Griots Black Satin"spray to coat all the areas that are black
This product is not intended for engine bays so I did not apply it to the engine itself
Cleaned the engine and engine bay last week and did the final detailing today
Nice looking engine bay. I've switched over to the Griot's product line for detailing needs (I still have 2 cans of CD2 Engine Detailer on a garage shelf.). I used the Engine Bay Dressing on my Crossfire last time I cleaned the engine bay. I used Dawn dish detergent to cleanup the engine bay & rinsed with a garden hose. And likewise I always take a plastic grocery bag and place it over the alternator when cleaning the engine bay.
Today was another great day. Got my new motor mounts in from Euro Parts. It was a very simple procedure. Except for getting the driver side top bolt off. Simpley I jacked each side of oil pan on a 4x4 block off wood. Worked 👍

In the top left corner we can clearly see the engine ground, I do not see any need to spend money on adding another. This could be cleaned if it gets corroded and then covered in silicone grease to keep it rust free.

sorry not following what you mean? Both of the mounts i put in were new. What else should I do I am all about learning and make it better.

Now I understand lol, so that has been like that since I bought it. The cable is very what should I do put something on it. Thanks

The cable is fine, you could unbolt it and clean the contact faces, bolt it back together and cover the area with silicone grease. to keep it clean and dry.

~ New battery for the Black srt..donated the older one to the Aero Blue
~ Now that the rescue SSB-SRT is back on the road, a check engine code..secondary air came up, I cleared it and decided to look for stored codes with the Autel/benz tool and found codes stored for the ESB stability and the air conditioning and the airbag..showing faults. So, I cleared them also and have no idea how long they had been stored or what caused them in the first place.
~ I washed and vacuumed the Aero Blue xfire and removed the tag and insurance to prepare it for sale soon. There are a couple of things I want to do to it such as the rotten rubber antenna and the hood support before I let it go.

Even so, I still don't like the idea of the complete ground (common) circuit depends on one inner fender...

If you don't get the codes any more, I would not worry about it. OBDII protocols will randomly trigger a code as 'pending', but either clear them after a few start/stop cycles OR store them for any future potential troubleshooting attempts. IF they don't trigger the idiot light they 'self cleared'. There are many reasons they store codes that do not trigger an idiot light. The ones that trigger the light are the ones that are usually needing service. You can drive yourself crazy trying to track down intermittent 'pending' OBDII codes. If it concerns you to the point of an obsession, start troubleshooting them ONE at a time using the service manual steps to see if you can isolate any reason for them. Good luck (you'll need it for random pending or stored OBDII codes that do not continually trigger the SES (idiot) light (the reference to 'idiot light' is used as a general dashboard definition for trouble indications).
So last night got my drive shaft and middle column bearing on. I also got all my plates on and heat shields. And finally new differential gear oil. All I have left is put the exhaust on and get my RCM back and turn the key 🔑 and drive

I hope you lined up the notches on the driveshaft,, ( one 1/2 has 2 (two) notches and the other 1/2 has 1 (one)notch. the 1 (one) notch when installed will aline in between the two notches . this is for balance ,,,if notches are not alined, you will know where the viberation is coming from as soon as you get to 70 or 80 mph jim

Cuz like, it's never wise to put all your eggs in one basket, my man. Women ANDelectrical grounds can be fickle and not, um, what's the phrase I'm looking for? Oh yeah, not "well grounded!"
