These are some of the pics from a how to I did on the facebook forum page. You can find it under "Giovanni Pace".I replaced the alarm siren, cleaned the drains, had the windshield replaced, repaired and painted the cowl.
If any admins see this, would it be ok to do large posts like that here? There were 36 pictures in the FB post.

Lovely the cowl finish, think it’s time to get mine done.

I used 3 coats of Rustoleum black satin, the plastic friendly one. Hopefully it holds up over time.

When it gets warmer, that’s on the job list. I’ll see what’s for sale in 🇬🇧

We can only put 10 photos per post and even the admins here have this limit
You are able to post multiple times to provide more than 10 photos

Thanks Valk. I can keep it at 10 or less and I'll try to make the pictures smaller.
I think it will bring added interest to the forum, especially the newer members like myself.
I've learned so much here that I'd like to try to give back.
Thanks

M60A3, I like the posts and the pictures that you have been adding. Have you thought about starting a separate thread? Kind of a running history of what you're doing with your car.

That was what I did back on 03-16-2018 when I got my Roadster
I add things periodically to my thread

My Second Crossfire - My 6 Speed Roadster

Great thread and great cars!
It looks like you were one of the first to put a message under the spoiler. That was just a hot topic on the FB forum.
I think I will do my own thread and post some of my maintenance pics.
Thanks for the advice!

Thank you, I appreciate it.
I think I will start a thread like Valk has done.
I like your suggestion about a history of how the car is evolving. Especially the maintenance side of it.
Like I do on the FB forum page as Giovanni Pace.
Great idea!

I replace the famous RCM today.
Hopefully this will be useful to somebody, especially those who are new to the Crossfire.
I will be sending the original out to tighed1 to get refurbished. Then I'll probably reinstall the original, and now that I know this one works, I'll keep it as a spare.
Here are the pics from a post I made on the facebook forum page.
These pics are for reference only. I'm not a licensed mechanic, this what I did on my own car.

Some people say that you don't have to disconnect the battery. I say better safe than sorry.

Where's Waldo? He's hiding underneath that bowl of spaghetti!

By leveling it, I mean make it flat so that the fuses are facing you and it's level like the engine cover.

Make sure everything matches before installing the new RCM. Check the fuses and the pin arrangements. Then reconnect the battery and start the car.

I loosened and re-torqued my lug bolts. I replaced the right rear wheel speed sensor. Painted the letters on my tires.

Yesterday I polished the headlights on the Crossfire, along with my other vehicles.

Wipers are at the bottom of the windshield ... to turn them on the switch is on the end of the turn signal lever

I'm dropping the car off for new paint on hood and bumper in the morning. I'm kinda nervous.

The car is filthy right now. I tried washing it here at home a couple of weeks ago. I guess my water softener is kaput. It is covered in hard water marks. I can't use the water spot removal product right now because my shoulder is too fouled up to do the rubbing. (I have surgery coming up.) Ugh. I need to find a NW Houston local detailing shop that I can afford. Wish me luck.

Good luck in getting the car cleaned off so they can match the paint correctly!
