I jacked up my d/s door handle trying to get it off for painting (stripped torx head). Had to take off the door panel to retrieve 3 hex bits and found out the service manual does NOT show you need to get the tweeter molding off to access the last screw holding it on.

Hopefully the techs at work can get it to work again (wont open from outside)

On the positive side I can now adjust the window glass

Nothing, thought about doing the sticky ignition switch repair and said 'bugger it, another day'.

I added some brake fluid, ordered some manifold gaskets, and recorded a 0-100MPH run for the guys over on the CherokeeSRT8 forum.

I'm doing some front bumper repair, I used fiberglass with regular resin. Laid the glass on, sanded it down and now I'm waiting for the can of color matched paint I ordered to come to paint it. I'm also waiting for the gallon of gelcoat I ordered to finish up the mold of the front emblem I made. I hate waiting. Maybe I'll go back on that IAT resistor thread to kill some time lol.

I put my hoodliner I got from never-satisfied. Didnt take the hood off and while it looks a bit droopy in the pics it actually looks pretty snug in person. Now to wait for my stainless steel goodies from maxicon!!

Hey Downward .... let us know how the fiberglass holds onto the bumper. I know that some plastics are not a good base for the resin used in fiberglassing, and I'm not sure about the plastic that our bumpers are formed from. Good Luck....

Mounted up some new street rubber on the 6. I stuck with the 555R2's and went up to a 305/35 18 and it looks mean.

New tires.

Replaced heat exchanger pump. Ordered and upgraded to a Johnson for the roadster.
When the pump arrived I looked in my box of XF parts for something and found out that I already had a new Johnson!
Oh well. Still have a spare!

A good method of repairing the bumper is to remove it to get to the back side of the crack. Rough it up and if you have the tools, V out a channel that runs the length of the damage. This allows the glue a place to settle into. Find some good epoxy for plastics, we use stuff called quick set 50. Lay it down over tyhe crack, put some screen over it and apply more glue...kinda like we all did in the old days with bondo on our cars When it dries, do the notch out thing to the front of the bumper but dont go so deep. You can just spread epoxy on top of the v and lightly sand it and then bury it with primer
