What did you do to your Crossfire today?
We took her for a long drive today. Our last stop was at the grocery store where I snapped this photo with my phone cam. Love that shine!

Dan,
Be careful pulling up to those curbs....
Looking good

That's the first thing I thought, my second though was damn that is a nice shine.
I got another cruise in, the wife had a work related dinner to attend so I headed to Sonic to try their pretzel hot dogs. Perfect night 80 degrees, low humidity and crystal blue sky's. On the way back I found a cruise-in so I pulled in and walked around a while. The skater waiter at Sonic thought the car was cool, he asked what it cost me and seemed a bit perturbed when he realized he paid more than that for his KIA. Got a few positive comments at the cruise. About the only thing that people seem to remember about the car is that the spoiler pops up on it's own. Counted 11 Corvettes at the cruise and 2 Cadillac XLR'S but just my single Crossfire.

I replaced the pair of bow tension cords on our roadster...check my post: https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...tml#post748591
Fitted my DIY roller luggage cover, replaced the plug leads after finding one cylinder with 2 leads turned to green dust at the coil. Oh and fitted my LED DRL.
Productive day!

Thanks Evan, et al It has a whopping 9,170 miles on it now.
As far as the curb, it cleared it just fine.
I've been getting a P0161 at every startup since the header instal. Got off my lazy cushion and switched the sensors. Now I have P0141 so there you are. Ordered and new Bosch 16276 from amazon. While I was at it I ordered a stud conversion kit with 2 sets of race nuts. Conical for the track rims and ball seats for the stock rims.

Les sorry if you posted this somewhere.....but I didn't see it. Did you ever get dyno results before and after the header install and if so what were the numbers?
Been switching out coil packs (after a spark plug wire change) to see where the hesitation, especially under constant throttle, is coming from. Seems that more gas makes it feel like it's 'loading up'...
Hey Gary and Live2drive,
Found a couple of vendors here in the states but they are asking a steep price for these, plus they don't carry many colors. I ended up buying these directly from RIMBLADES over in the UK cause they had the color I wanted (Blue) and were much cheaper price wise. Takes a little work to install but they stick like the dickens. They have a VHB double sided tape that goes on after you clean the rim edge with the supplied alcohol wipes and then apply a 3M primer that comes in a crush tube swab. They say if the tire guy is careful, these should remain on the rim during a tire change. I had some minor rim scrapeage and found these hid that nicely. Here's the link where I ordered from...

I ended up ordering a set off amazon for only $38.48, they are the adhesive type too. here's the amazon link.
I haven't gotten a chance to install them yet but they have a 3m adhesive backing with a small lip to go over the inside of the rim and include the primer pads.
I got mine in red but I can always plasti dip them black to match my wheels
.
The only thing I dislike is they need to be cut, mine all came as one long piece so there will always be a small, but noticeable (only to me) gap on each tire.

Please provide feedback after instillation
I will; however the installation instructions are pretty specific and state that the car should not be driven for up to 24 hours after installation to allow the 3m adhesive to "set in". Otherwise they could possibly fly off the rim while driving. So if the weather decides to play in my favor tomorrow, I'll take the bike to work instead and install these.
