I think it is a good idea. My new Dodge Dart has back up camera, etc, etc. Once I use it I am a believer. GPS will obsolete the driver.

Gary posted these on FB and I said the EXACT same thing...

Maybe with the right color they could be seen as a dress up accessory, but I would need to see it to believe it

Gary, are you going to have yours on by Woodward so I can check them out?

After putting some marks on my rims once I now park far away from any curb. If I park too far away from it my wife says it's OK as she can call a taxi to get to the sidewalk.
She always was sarcastic.

Both of mine had slight road rashing when I bought them. These do a nice job of covering them up, so I guess you can call them a dress up accessory. I have a set of the lt. grey/silver ones on the way for the wifey's Graphite Xfire. I'll post pics after they're installed.

Thanks, not trying to knock anyone's choices, just need to see a nice set up close, maybe I will like them a lot in person...

Just got back from dropping mine off at the body shop. Repair my stupidity and repaint the rear bumper cover. They are saying I should have it back Friday, I hope so it's suppose to be a nice weekend for a change.

Thanks to Bryan's advice, I finally ordered the hood pin setup for my CF hood.

Anyone with a CF hood out there, I have put less than 2K miles on mine since I installed it and last time I was cleaning I found hairline cracks all around the latch, same as Bryan reported. The latch is taking an incredible amount of force, both being pulled upward and torqued side to side. Before driving anymore, I knew something had to be done...

I got to cruise in it this evening. The body shop finished the back bumper a day early and it looks outstanding. Besides repairing the two dimples that I put in it with the wife's car this also fixed a a scuff and three small nicks that were there when I bought it. Now if I can keep from doing something else stupid I am good to go. History is not on my side on that stupid thing though.

I put 1K miles on it in the past 24 hours. It's gone from 3,900 miles in December to over 14K miles today.

Stop! The wheels will fall off!

I had to replace my battery today. The previous owner thought it was cool to put in a cheap wally-world battery. I had to jump start the car twice over the past few days. I put in an AutoCraft Gold Battery, Group Size 48, 730 CCA 48H6 from Advance Auto Parts. Hopefully my issues will be resolved now.

I'd love to see it when you're done. I've probably put over 10k miles on my CF hood and haven't noticed anything aside from it being a little off center which hopefully I can adjust

Will do, but if you can, do me a favor and clean the area right around the latch where the FG flattens out and see if you can see any cracks. Mine were small, almost non-visible at first, but they are definitely there on mine...
